International training Workshop on energy efficiency measures at Magna

For the fourth time, the FfE GmbH held an energy technology training for energy representatives and technical managers of various European companies and plants of the Magna Group. The special feature of this English-language workshop was that, for the first time, energy managers from different European countries were trained together. In addition, they were given a framework for exchanging experiences and ideas in the form of group works and plenary discussions.

The approx. 25 workshop participants were first introduced to theoretical principles and measures for increasing efficiency in the areas of energy performance indicators, compressed air supply, lighting, heating and cooling generation and distribution. Subsequently, the learned knowledge was to be applied in practice by additionally carrying out various calculations for energy efficiency measures and analysing implemented measures of other companies.

The aim now is to apply at the sites the findings learned and to implement appropriate measures.
