Munich heat transition in 2040: Achieving the climate targets is a major challenge

Within the framework of the study "Wärmewende München 2040" (Heat Transition in Munich 2040 – Action Recommendations), FfE has investigated how the goal of reducing the heat-related CO2 emissions (space heating and hot water) of the residential building stock in Munich until 2040 by 70% (compared to 2014) can be achieved

The article briefly presents the main findings of the study, which are also illustrated in figure 1.
